I have come to realization, perhaps belatedly so, that my journal does not really function as much besides a piece of scenery for my homepage. This is my own fault for not updating it with reasonable frequency, but frankly, there's not much to say. I don't really fancy myself an artist, and art does not play a major role in my day-to-day life, so what I would put in this journal if I were to keep up with it would be more related to history than anything else, I suppose. Still, a year and a half is too long to leave this thing unattended.

What's new then? I'm still dating the same girl I was in the previous post, and we're still quite happy! The only downside is that, with no heartbreak or spurned romance, my poetic and artistic inspirations have become less. Well, I suppose the poetic still functions well enough, but that tends to be for her eyes only, so nothing to post.

I kinda miss photography, so I may put forth the effort to have a charged camera with me in the near future so as to take more pictures and stuff. My latest endeavors have been more literary and/or programming in nature. Specifically, I've been writing some alternate history and programming a mod for a PC game that I play. Unfortunately, neither of those result in artwork that can be posted, so I'll just have to remember to get the camera back out and take pretty pictures!

To those of you that I watch and comment on and fave occasionally, I am still watching, never fear, and everyone's doing great work, so props to everyone.

ummmmmm... That's all I have, so I guess I'll check back in after another span of time and update whenever it seems appropriate.
